    1. Help crime victims+police would get less calls

      Make it easier for crime victims to order reports. Instead of mailing in hand written request, order online like Sonoma Co Sheriffs here is their link http://www.sonomasheriff.org/pr_report_request.php - You can also report certain crimes on-line http://www.sonomasheriff.org/report_crime_2b.php
      With the budget the way it is this would probably help the police – get less calls

        • make recorded meetings available for download in a non-proprietary or less restrictive format

          Currently, the recorded meetings require citizens to install Silverlight in order to view the meetings online. It would be nice if the the recordings were available in a more readily accessible way for online streaming or for downloading to ones person computer.

            • Insulate and weatherize, add solar to city buildings

              I notice the city library would be an excellent candidate.

              If this user forum is mainly for IT, I suggest we have one of these for general citizen ideas and suggestions.
